Editorial: A Call to Properly Centre Equity in Journalism - at The Varsity and Beyond

While serving as Comment Editor of the Varsity from 2020-2021, wambui was also head of the Varsity’s Editorial Board. During her term, she pitched, wrote, and published two editorial pieces. This piece, published near the end of her term, argued for the need for journalism to de-centre objectivity and recenter equity.
